The Music

Why pi11PI

The number 11 is the smallest two-digit prime number and the first to have repeating digits. It carries deep significance across mathematics, culture and science, most notably as a 'Master Number' in numerology and as a marker for major historical milestones. That's the origin of the artist name PI11PI.

Music expresses what words cannot

In 2023, I began translating this philosophy into music using Apple’s GarageBand, exploring more than eleven thousand loops across three years. The result is a growing universe of sound and ideas: 33 albums and hundreds of tracks that trace a path through quantum physics, Eastern and Western philosophy, consciousness, absurdism, transcendence and more. Each album forms a chapter in an ongoing dialogue with the infinite. From the reflections of PIlosoPI to travel stories collected across 44 countries, from the different layers of consciousness to the playfully serious Infinity Religion that I invented along the way.

This isn’t mainstream music. It’s exploratory, imaginative and proudly nerdy, but I believe there’s a frequency in it for everyone. Something that resonates when the mind is open and the heart is curious.

This project is my legacy: a creative philosophy that celebrates curiosity, embraces life’s absurdity and encourages one simple truth. Live fully, enjoy deeply, share kindly, and keep reaching toward the infinite. Through articles, videos and music, The World of PI invites you to explore the unknown with openness and wonder. Start on this website, review the Books of Infinity, or listen to the PI11PI music on your streaming service.

After all, nobody holds the truth. We simply don’t know. None of us do, and that’s exactly where the journey begins.

Studies, Stories, and Memoirs

The Study albums were the first to emerge. They began as experiments inside Apple’s GarageBand, exploring tools, loops and structures. Later, the track titles became a way to summarize topics I had studied, like philosophy, consciousness, science and more, turning each album into a compressed reflection of ideas. From late 2024 onward, the album track titles evolved into ultra-short stories. Some tracks even include spoken lyrics generated through a text-to-voice app, adding another layer of narrative to the soundscape. Between the studies and the stories, personal memories found their place. These albums capture moments from travel, work, and sport. These are collections of lived experiences woven into music.

11 Playlists

To help listeners navigate this wonderfully 'nerdy' musical universe, eleven playlists were created. The music is not mainstream, much like my infinity philosophy, or whatever you choose to call it. Just as my reflections wander through different belief systems, opinions and worldviews, the music explores an equally wide range of sounds, emotions and atmospheres. I’m convinced that everyone can find something they enjoy. It’s simply a matter of discovering the tracks that resonate with your frequency in the right moment. These playlists serve as a musical roadmap, guiding you through 33 albums and hundreds of tracks without losing your way in the labyrinth.  Keep your ears open, both in music and in life. Try something unexpected. Explore beyond your comfort zone. Open your mind, open your heart, and live fully.

Highly Recommended

For the best listening experience, use a headset or earplugs. All tracks were created in Apple GarageBand and the iPad version delivered noticeably better sound quality than earlier laptop-based tracks. All earlier pieces have been remastered accordingly. With headphones or earplugs, the layers, dynamics and details truly come alive. Even in your car, the sound quality is excellent. Just turn up the volume and enjoy.

The revenues received from the different streaming services are donated to good causes.
